After School @ ICG

Grades K-5

Explore ICG’s Outdoor After School Program

After School @ ICG offers a dynamic outdoor nature program for K-5th graders. Serving Tompkins County, this program enriches after-school time with outdoor activities that foster cognitive, social, and physical development. Through immersive nature play and hands-on exploration, children discover and connect deeply with the natural world, building a foundation for lifelong learning and growth.

Program Information

Registration for After School @ ICG ’25-’26 opens on April 14th!

Register Starting April 14!

Dates & Time

September 3, 2025 to June 18, 2026

Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM

 

We strongly encourage participants to register for at least 2 days per week.

 

ICG follows the Ithaca City School District calendar for holidays and breaks.

Tuition

5 days: $525/month

4 days: $465/month

3 days: $385/month

2 days: $275/month

1 day: $145/month

 

Scholarship Opportunities

We provide scholarships based on eligibility for free or reduced lunch.

 

Free lunch eligibility = 40% scholarship
Reduced lunch eligibility = 30% scholarship

 

Additional need-based scholarships are available and easy to complete! If you are interested in a need-based scholarship, please answer “yes” to the question “Would you like to fill out a need-based scholarship application?” on the registration form.

Enrollment Process

Determine which days you would like to enroll.

Reach out with any questions (register@ithacachildrensgarden.org or 607-319-4203). We strongly encourage participants to register for at least 2 days/week.

Complete the registration form on or after 4/14

If you are interested in a need-based scholarship, please answer “yes” to the question “Would you like to fill out a need-based scholarship application?”

Wait to hear back from ICG.

ICG will review your registration form, requested schedule, and scholarship information and then reach out to confirm availability or your place on the waitlist.

If space is available:

ICG will reach out to confirm your continued interest and collect additional information/payment.
