Kids learn about civic engagement in ‘Kids Taking Action’ series

Ithaca Voice covers Tompkins County Democratic Committee ‘Kids Taking Action’ initiative event where children learned about voting by filling out ballots that included, among others, what issues are most important in the community, best ice cream flavors, and favorite local park. And, guess what? Environmental issues and Ithaca Children’s Garden got the most votes! Double win.
