New to Ithaca… introducing Turtle Lane

Where do you go to slow down and smell the fennel?  121 Turtle Lane of course!

After years of confusion locating the Garden, ICG now has a unique street name and a proper street sign to go with it.

Easy to say, easy to spell, and apropos given the abundance of native turtles in our neck of the marsh -not to mention our giantess, Gaia – we expect new visitors will have a better time finding us on their first try.

A big thank you to Ithaca City Forester Jeanne Grace, and members of the Parks Commission and the Board of Public Works for making this vision a reality.
